I know too much and it started early. If you want the long story, we need to grab a cup of Shaklee Energizing Tea and talk! All I can say is that I have traveled through life and collected experiences in the principles of health promotion and disease prevention. I know it is much better to be healthy than sick. I have studied in the gyms of a Physical Fitness Institute. I have studied in university laboratories and in terrestrial, freshwater and ocean ecosystems, I have taught environmental, biological and medical sciences at the University and professional school levels.
I know we have some major problems. I have seen the results of acute and chronic diseases in the cadaver lab, morgue and hospital rooms. I have seen dead streams. I have seen the effects of exposures to toxins and what it does to human tissue. I know that we generate a lot of toxic waste to have our "comfortable" lifestyles. I know about genetically modifying organisms and have great reservation about doing so. I know that polypharmacy (too many drugs at once) is complicating many lives unnecessarily. I know our food system does not deliver nutritionally sound foods. I know, from credible reports and personal observation that rates of obesity, cancer, autism, asthma, ADHD and other conditions are skyrocketing in our populations. I know that our U.S. health care delivery system (really a disease and accident management system) is in total chaos at present.
I know there needs to be a change of course towards a healthier future. I know there are ways to minimize, postpone, stop and/or eliminate many of these problems. I have modified my life in response to my discoveries and Shaklee is playing a major role. I have Shaklee-ized my home.
